Description

Two Burlington veterans from Chicago with 100 years between them shake their fingers at Engineer J. W. Snyder, right, for bringing the railroad special in more than five hours late. Snyder, just a youngster of 34 years of railroading, tells C. E. Phelps, left, and Henry J. Polack, right, that he wasn't to blame - he made up 40 minutes on the run from Wichita Falls.
