A patient entering the USPHS psychiatric hospital is assigned to a psychiatrist, such as Dr. M. E. DeBolt, left. But for every important decision - diagnosis, treatment, change of treatment - the assigned psychiatrist has the aid of a senior psychiatrist, such as Dr. E. W. Green, right, clinical director.
