Bill Boyd sounds in for the Lone Star Producing Company at the No. 1 Bill Boyd on the 2000-acre farm of the former American Petroleum Industry president in Freestone County. Spudding in of the wildcat opened festivities honoring Boyd upon his return to his birthplace.
