Preparing to board one of the three special buses which took some 100 new teachers in the Fort Worth public schools on a tour of the city, left to right, Mrs. Doris A. Coggins from Victoria, and Miss Toinette Marie Futrell from Forney, both first grade teachers. The four-hour tour, was sponsored by the Fort Worth Classroom Teachers Association. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition August 31, 1950.
