Description
Image of Ted S. Petty, 37, who shot and killed his wife, Mrs. Ruby Maud Petty. At the 200 block of Main, shortly before 4 P.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 1950, Petty fired three shots, fatally wounding Mrs. Petty, who died a few hours later in the hospital. Petty had been married to his wife for 18 years. Published in the morning edition, August 30.
