Description
Miss Jeanne Schenck, head of the physical therapy department at City-County Hospital, is shown demonstrating the muscle stimulator that was recently added to the equipment used in the treatment of patients with polio. The machine was a gift from the L. F. Shanblum Lodge, B'nai B'rith, and was presented by the officers pictured. Shown left to right, are Miss Schenck; George Weinstein, treasurer; Joe Daiches, secretary; Willard Glazer, president; and Lep Lipshitz, vice president. Published in the evening edition, August 31, 1950.
