Ted S. Petty, center, is shown in handcuffs at the city jail, where he admitted to shooting and fatally wounding his wife, Mrs. Ruby Maud Petty. to the left stands Detective Charlie Smith, and to the right is Traffic Patrolman C. M. Maclin, who was responsible for apprehending Petty after the shooting. Published in the morning edition, August 30.
