    Description

Mrs. Earl Sain, of 3602 Crestline Road, got a taste of her son's diet when she sampled a C-3 individual combat ration- the same kind issued to United States forces in Korea. Her son, 2nd Lieutenant Joe Kendrick, 23-year-old veteran of World War II, was in front-line combat with the 27th Infantry since the Korean action began.
