Dr. Russell J. Blattner. professor of pediatrics at Baylor University's medical school in Houston, and virus researcher for over 10 years, visited Fort Worth to confer with health authorities on a survey of the polio situation in the city. He was brought in at the request of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis after City Health Director Bradshaw asked for assistance. Published in the morning edition, August 29, 1950
