Image shows Dee Fondy safe at first base in eighth inning game at La Grave Field. Fondy forced Joe Torpey, right, at second base but Beaumont Shortstop Jack Cusick threw low past First Baseman Joe Sabtella. Beaumont won, 6-4. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 29, 1950.
