Description
Obie D. Boyd, 25, of 1120 Lipscomb, Texas Christian University (TCU) senior, joined Marine reserves after thinking he had resigned from a Navy reserve unit. This week he had orders calling him to active duty in both services. The puzzled Fort Worth man now is sure of but one thing: he will soon be in uniform of some kind. Meanwhile, he's keeping headgear of both services handy. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition August 22, 1950.
