More than 325 people attended the annual barbecue supper and watermelon party given by Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Jones, owners of the Jones Hereford Ranch near Rhome. In the picture left to right are Walter Barret, Gail Dudley and Kyle Barret, all of Comanche. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 21, 1950.
