Image shows four young women, each perspective brides of members of the Fort Worth Cats. They arrived in Fort Worth by plane earlier in the week prior to the photo's publication. The young women, left to right are Marilee Coor, fiancée of Joe Torpey; Phyllis June Warner, fiancée of Don Hoak; Patricia Ann Thayer, fiancée of Russ Rose; and Martha Jo Day, fiancée of John Rutherford. The four weddings would be held at La Grave Field, preceding a Fort Worth-Oklahoma City game. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 17, 1950.
