Here are the winners in each flight of the city junior golf championship, completed at Sycamore. Left to right, Michael Taylor (9th), Robert Sykes (8th), Tiny Evans (5th), Don Ezzell (4th), Johnny Gipso 91st), Don Matheson (championship), Jerry Hooks (2nd), Leon Duffey (3rd), George McKeown (6th), and Charles Stringer (7th). Matheon defeated Jerry Edwards in the championship finals, 3-2, in the annual affair for the Fort Worth youngsters. Matheson also won the medalist trophy. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition August 18, 1950.
