    Image shows Mrs. Mary Warren, the widow of Police Officer J. M. "Jimmy" Warren. Mrs. Warren is shown at her new job, working a secretary to Police Captain Dysart in his new post as full-time director of the Fort Worth Emergency Board to plan civilian defense. This was her first job since her husband died with two of the couple's three daughters of burns suffered when flames engulfed their home at 2509 Pearl in February of the same year. Published in the morning edition, August 11, 1950.
