Description
Tricolored posters such as the one shown held by Lieutenant Howard H. McPeak, appeared in Fort Worth as the Texas State Guard Reserve Corps began a campaign to enlist 50 percent of authorized strength in the area. Lieutenant McPeak was a public information officer in the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment, TSGRC. Published in the evening edition, August 10, 1950.
