Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Welsh, of 4433 Birchman, announced the engagement of their daughter Mary Emma Welsh, to David Paul Fowler, son of Mrs. Gilbert A. Wilson, of 503 Fairview, and the late Clyde J. Fowler of Fort Worth. The image shows Miss Welsh sitting in a chair, smiling at the camera. Published in the evening edition, August 10, 1950.
