Ralph Janes, an Austin turkey breeder, right, is shown telling Bill Griffin, a Santa Anna hatchery man, how the rubber fingers he is holding would pick a chicken or turkey cleaner than human hands. The photo was taken while both men were at the Texas Poultry Improvement Association Convention. Published in the evening edition, August 8, 1950.
