Description

Five girls from the North Side Recreation Building are shown as they practice a Roman Ladder act for the recreation department's 20th annual circus. Center, top to bottom, are Sue Grove, Jerry Lee Adle, and Alice Grove. Jessie Harwell is at the left, and Mary Grove is at the right. The three Grove sisters would also do a hand-balancing act. Published in the evening edition, August 15, 1950.
