Miss Margareth Martin, second from the right, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. I. Martin, of 2341 Primrose, is shown as she entertained house guests, two of her classmates from Ward Belmont College, Miss Margaret Prehn, left, of Springfield Illinois, and Miss Ann Massengill, right, and her mother, Mrs. Annie Lynn Massengill, of New York City. Misses Martin and Brehn would leave later in the week for Brainard, Minnesota, to stay at the Prehn summer lodge, the Massengills would go to Mexico City. Published in the evening edition, August 8, 1950.
