People are shown standing outside a house during the night, as water floods around them. Water gushed around three feet into the air from a broken-24-inch underground pipe, flooding streets, yards, and one hone in the 800 block of East Bluff, and the 900 block of East Peach. Published in the morning edition, August 7, 1950.
