Description
Edward R. Neill resigned as manager of the Tarrant County chapter of the Red Cross. At the time of this photo, Neill planned to move to San Antonio to serve as manager of the Bexar county chapter. Neill came to Fort Worth in May 0f 1948 from San Antonio where he was formally the assistant manager of the Red Cross. During WWII, Neill served with the Redcross in several Army posts and became field supervisor of camp services for Texas. Prior to the war, he served with the safety education services for the Department of Public Safety. Published in the morning edition, August 6, 1950.
