    Description

    Jack K. Ferguson, 21, yeoman third class, took a 30-day leave, visiting his mother, Mrs. L. R. Britt, and brother, Charles "Bubba" Ferguson, at 4500 East Belknap. At the end of his leave, Ferguson would report for duty aboard the cruiser U.S.S. Newport News, at an east coast port. Published in the evening edition, August 7, 1950.
