Description
Traffic experts expect the East-West Expressway to ease some of the congestion at this Arlington Heights intersection by routing " through city" and a portion of crosstown traffic away from Camp Bowie and W. 7th. Except for the expressway, there is little hope for better traffic conditions at the point which intersects W. 7th, Camp Bowie, University and Bailey although a traffic count and retiming of signals are planned in the immediate future. An example of the necessary slowdown at the intersections is shown as cars moving in four directions wait at red lights for one other line of cars as shown from aerial view.
