Shown are bits of the schedule of Fort Worth business men on their Chamber of Commerce-sponsored tour of West Texas and the Panhandle. During a 20-minute stop at Matador, are, left to right; J. H Hemphill of Terrell's Laboratories, Fort Worth; J. R. Whitworth, cashier of the first State Bank of Matador; Elmer Stearns, vice president of the First State Bank of Matador, and G. D. Wiley of Swift & Company, Fort Worth. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 29, 1950.
