Description

Alton, left and his father, H. R. Roberts, Taylor County ranchers, take a look at their range land where sheep, cattle, and goats are coming through the winter in good shape. Partners in the ranching business, the Robertses operate their livestock enterprise on 11 sections of land located near Buffalo Gap south of Abilene. They run about 100 heads of grade Hereford cows, 2,400 Rambouillet ewes, and 650 heads of goats. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 22, 1950.
