Description
Two of 10 convalescent polio patients who left here for treatment at Gonzales Warm Springs Foundation were Mrs. John E. Glassie Jr. of Fort Worth and Leroy Steele, 2, of Comanche. Leroy cried and waved goodbye with both hands to City-County Hospital nurses as he was placed in the ambulance by attendants Jimmie Haley left, and Glenn Bavousett. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 26, 1950.
