Glassie Jr., former Rice Institute fullback and football coach, helps his wife, a polio patient at City-County Hospital, pretty up for an ambulance trip to Gonzales Warm Springs Foundation for convalescent treatment. Mrs. Glassie, 26, has been under treatment here. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 27, 1950.
