Mr. and Mrs. James T. Milam, front row, of Dallas tell their great-granddaughter, Janice Pope, grandson, Ed Pope of Dallas and daughter, Mrs. R. A. Bryan, also of Dallas, about the family record of not having a death in four generations. About 35 members of the family gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Florence, 1642 South Admas, after a picnic in Rosemont Park. Mila represents the oldest member of the family, Janice the youngest. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition July 24 1950.
