Description

A string of 275 Hereford steers averaged 1335 pounds at Fort Worth. They sold for 30 cents a pound. They were shipped to Fort Worth by Wilmer Seay, Oscar, Oklahoma, and purchased by Howell Smith of Wichita Falls on order for an Illinois feeder. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition July 23 1950.
