Stu Locklin of Oklahoma City clips a corner of the plate with his toe to score the North's first run in the all-Star game at La Grave Field. The catcher is Clint Courtney of Beaumont, while the man calling the play is Fred Sigler. Locklin is scoring on an infield out. South won, 5-2. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition July 22, 1950.
