Mrs. D. C. Burton, of 3536 Millet, extended her garden care into the alley behind her home. Flowers and a good stand of grass exemplifies the type of developments being undertook in keeping with Fort Worth's beautification program, sponsored by the Star-Telegram and the Chamber of Commerce. Published in the evening edition, July 31, 1950.
