Description
B. C. Bedford, 519 Hudgins, displays two of the grapefruit-sized lemons growing on a tree in his yard. The pale yellow fruit often weigh from two and a half to three pounds each. Bedford, a retired carpenter, protects the tree each winter with a small wooden house and an oil stove. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition July 21 1950.
