Sandy Jo, owned by Mrs. Bessie Faye Beird, 2724 Strong, was best of breed at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show in Trinity Park. The seven-month old chow was also fourth in the non-sporting variety group. The dog stands on a bed. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 23, 1950.
