Description
Standing before the Gothic arch that leads into the Oakhurst Presbyterian Church's sanctuary, which was dedicated, are two former pastors and the present minister. Left to right, Rev. William Aaron Cockerell, Throckmorton, who was Oakhurst minister from 1937 through 1942; Rev. Fred W. Tyler and Rev. Alexander Gray, Sulphur, Oklahoma, who led the congregation for three years beginning in 1934. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 17, 1950.
