Description
Civilians turned into GI's when elements of the 49th Armored Division collected at Eagle Mountain Lake National Guard Base preparatory to leaving for two weeks training at Fort Hood. All the activity was lots of fun for David Brown, young son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brown, 3209 Gordon, who was carried into the barracks by his father's friend, Private Officer. Charles McBride, 1554 Shaw. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition July 16, 1950.
