Conde Morris, left, and Al Alleman have mutual gardening interests. Alleman of Baton Rouge is director of the national group Men's Garden Clubs of America and founding president of his local club. Helping Alleman to get acquainted with men garden clubs here was Conde Morris, president of the Fort Worth Men's Garden Club. Alleman presented charters to clubs at Denton and Dallas, two clubs jointly sponsored by the Fort Worth and Baton Rouge groups. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 16, 1950.
