Description
A young Native American brave at the entrance of the tent, protects village women from a pioneer attack in a scene from a "Thunderbird," which opened at McLean Junior High School amphitheater for a free showing. Acting as the Native American women, left to right, are Joanne Martin and Beebee Baker. Acting as Native American is Stephen Oliver, Freddie Hoskins is the pioneer, peering from behind the tent. The show is a joint presentation of the City Recreation Department and the fine arts department at TCU. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 17, 1950.
