Description
An old stone house built in Throckmorton county 1876 is shown above at left in its present state of restoration. On a covered porch at rear is a water well. A handy arrangement in case of Indian raids. In contrast with the old house, modern living is exemplified in the two story ranch of the Barney Davis family, shown above. Other attractive Throckmorton pictures are shown on this page which features the county's centennial celebration on October 3-4.
