The photograph shows a "freeway" for foot traffic, looking from living room into entry hall, at new home of Miss Mavis Douglas, 2700 Colonial Parkway. The house has 3,900 square feet of floor area. The larger homes especially need well planned hallways that connect the different rooms of the house. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition April, 1954.
