Ellis County cotton is piling up at the gins and compress and the seed is far in excess of storage space at the cottonseed oil mills. Shown are thousands of bales from the near-by compress and many tons of seed in mounds near Planters Cotton Oil Company mill at Ennis. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 22, 1953.
