Description
Waxahachie's excellent Sims Library, which has an endowment of $60,000, has nearly 18,000 volumes in its stacks. It is memorial to Nicholas P. Sims, early day landowner, who died in the late 1890s. It was built in 1904. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 22, 1953.
