Bust photo of Tom Fairey, candidate for state commissioner of agriculture on the Democratic Party ballot. Fairey is a Travis County stockman and rancher. He contends he is the best qualified, has long been an exponent of soil and water conservation and has served as AAA county committeeman and 4-H and FFA sponsor. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 7, 1950.
