Navy wrecking crane from Grand Prairie Naval Air Station, pulls wreckage of jet plane from hole in earth where it burrowed when Chance Vought Test Pilot Warren P. Smith crashed to his death noon near Grand Prairie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 07, 1950.
