    Description

    Texas Technological College Museum. The museum was completed at a cost of $258,000. The museum, a notable culture and folklore center for West Texas, contains the Spitz Planetarium. A 1,316 square foot fresco in the rotunda of the Museum will portray the historical development of the South Plains, including the likenesses of the area's business and professional pioneers. Peter Hurd of New Mexico is the artist of the fresco. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, August 23, 1953.
