Description
Mayor Fred Gage, left, and City Manager Dick Pepin look satisfied as they show that Odessa's water supply isn't hurt by a little extravagance. Odessa with two other cities, Big Springs and Snyder, member of the Colorado River Municipal Water District, constructed a $11 M dam without federal help. Two summers ago the city was rationing water. Now there's more than enough water coming from two sources - Ector County wells and Martin County wells.
