Welterweight Mike Ward, right, of Carswell Air Force Base, will be one of Fort Worth's stoutest entries in state Golden Gloves tournament starting Wednesday. Here he's en route to first-round technical knockout over Richard Bentley in regional finals. Bentley is being pushed against the ropes of the boxing ring. Bentley has his glove around Ward's neck.
