Mr. and Mrs. Newton H. Lassiter celebrate their golden wedding anniversary plus 10 years (60 years) at Hotel Texas. The Lassiters met about a year after he came here in 1885 to practice law. Mr. Lassiter was born near Lexington, Tenn. and Mrs. Lassiter is a real Fort Worth pioneer. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Davis owed a building bock downtown. Mr. and Mrs. Lassiter say they never have had a quarrel or misunderstanding in their 60 years of marriage but have had disagreements as is only natural.
