Description
Forest Ranger O. J. Olson, right, looks at the picturesque landscape near Cloudcroft from a 9,000-foot peak of New Mexico's Sacramento Mountains in the Lincoln National Forest, where Fort Worth's 1950 community Christmas tree was cut. Glistening in the sun, 30 miles away, are the White Sands, a national monument. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 22, 1950.
