Pat Mitchell of Gainesville, second from right, hits finish line in 100-yard dash Friday afternoon, beating out Carlton Stowers of Abilene, left, and Herman Neckor of Dallas Sunset. Mitchell's time was 9.6, a new Recreation meet record. All meet record. All three qualified for the finals Saturday.
